Are you a business growth, creative development or technology expert passionate about helping others utilise new frontier technologies? Do you actively support creative industries business growth and IP development? Is peer to peer knowledge and network-building your passion? 

Personal and professional development is an important aspect of our CoSTAR industry Access Programmes. Mentors provide tailored, individual support for founders and senior leaders, giving participants the chance to engage with experienced tech industry operators, founders, experts, and educators, nurturing relationships that drive creative, technical, business and professional growth. 

What skills and experiences are needed to become a CoSTAR Network Mentor? 

To ensure our participants have access to the right expertise and current industry thinking in our industry Access Programmes, we are onboarding a pool of expert Mentors with a range of different specialisms, which we can draw upon for programme delivery. Mentors will have a broad range of skills, experiences and backgrounds, excellent interpersonal communication and be passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and the growth of new creative businesses. 

Mentors will come from diverse backgrounds, offering a wide range of experience and perspectives including but not limited to business operations, creative IP development, technology developers, industry experts in commercialisation, distribution, funding and finance and social impact.

CoSTAR Network Mentors will be promoted on public-facing communications and in call publications, as being industry experts, leaders and specialists on CoSTAR industry Access Programmes.  We will support mentors with a standard hour or day rate for programme participation which will be agreed and contracted in advance of engagement.
